Unifying themes in Paul’s diverse work concern the types of challenges that individuals, groups, organizations, and even societies encounter due to complexity, uncertainty and human information-processing limits. Much of Paul’s work reflects the cognitive, emotional, and social biases many of us prone to, from descriptive insights to prescriptive recommendations based on normative theories and time-tested heuristic approaches.
